Jonathan Paul May
October 9, 1958 - February 27, 2010
Jonathan was “The Maestro”. He taught multitudes of children the joy of music, and the love for living life to its fullest.
People say that Jonathan lived through his music...that is true, however we know too, that he continues to live through his love.
Jonathan was 3rd from the oldest of seven siblings, he was the son of two talented musicians, a beloved husband to Maureen and father to Emily,Elliot, Allison and Nathan. He was a friend to people across the country. He is LOVED AND LOVED AND LOVED!
On February 26, 2010, Jonathan was driving home and suffered a brain bleed. He pulled his car off the street and lost consciousness. A homeless man saw what happened and called for help. The police had to smash his driver’s side window to help him.
Jonathan never regained consciousness. He was declared officially dead on February 27, 2010.
Jonathan was an organ donor. He donated over 67 body parts….all of the transplants were successful! He would be happy to know that he continues to contribute to life even after his death.
Jonathan is loved every passing moment by his family and friends.
We are proud of you, and love you Jonathan!
