I received the gift of a liver transplant on March 17, 2005, 5 years after being diagnosed with autoimmune liver disease and later, liver cancer. This was a little over a week after my 20th birthday.

Today, I am doing very well and have blessed beyond measure. I am married and have 3 children.

I will be forever grateful to my donor and their family. There are no words to describe how selfless the act of becoming a donor really is. It is truly a gift that will live on through my children for generations ❤️
